What exactly are you trying to move and what are you trying to achieve?

How are you trying to do this? On the phone or plugged into a PC?
Using mass storage or PC Suite mode?

To be honest, I dont know what to move, because the phone just kept displaying a message that "not enough memory, move or delete some data from c: phone memory". I dont know how to go about it.

I had a very slow performing N97 before. I decided to do my first master reset and now I have heaps of memory on the C: drive. I don't believe I intentionally installed or had any files on the C: drive before. So do a master reset and you will have around 50mb of C: drive free.

You could try these steps before doing a master reset:

Clear the browser cache. Web > Options > Clear Privacy Data
Change the Call Log from 30 Days to 10. Applications > Log > Options
Change the message memory from handset to Mass Storage. Messages > Options > Settings > Other > Memory in Use. ( I have found that this does slow the reading and sending of messages at times though)
Uninstall the preinstalled apps you don't use.

Just doing this I've found has made a large improvement in my memory capacity.
