i have a new xda 11i and bt gps when i connect i can see the device using the bluetooth manager but when i try to use tomtom navigator it will not see the gps is this a known problem and can it be fixed

Now that you have established a serial connection from your XDA to the Bluetooth GPS, you should try and let the program open the connection next time. Just configure the program to use BTC: as a COM porty (if available), or select the appropriate COM port. Start the program and let it try to open the connection instead of manually connecting first.
