I have a T3 with a palm W Fi card and Web Pro. The Wi Fi card seems to connect to the router w/ no problem whenever I'm in a hot spot, however, Web Pro always gives me the following error

DNS lookup timed out. Please check coverage and try again (Comm. 8)

I've tried hard resetting my T3 and reinstalling the Wi Fi software w/ no luck. I've tried checking and unchecking he proxy server option and allowing auto detect of DNS and IP addresses.

I've tried other browsers besides Web Pro also to no avail.

Nothing seems to work. Any suggestions?

No suggestions, but I am having the same thing with bluetooth and a zire 72!

So it's a network thing, not specifically wifi or bluetooth.

I have a pretty strong suspicion it has to do with my IVT Bluetooth software, but now you've got me thinking otherwise.

Anyone got a clue?

Take a look at the Proxy server configuration on WebPro. It is known to cause this error. It must be unchecked.
