Ciao
Recently bought a Imate (new) PDA2 and a bt adapter for my PC
Thought that I could surf the internet on the PDA by connecting to the PC via the bt adapter. However, this seems vert tricky and not that straightforward.
Can anyone suggest some step by step setup instructions for both the PDA & the PC
Very new to PDA technology, and bluetooth on pc new to me
grazie mille
ian

Check our Bluetooth Guides. The one you want is under the title "Windows Mobile 2003 Guides (for HP iPAQ, Dell, PDA2k, Verizon XV6600, Harrier)".

There's also an article with things to check if your configuration does not work.

Hi thanks for your help
I do not have a LAN connection I have a perm (USB) ASDL modem connection. so the LAN connection icon has a red X thru it. However, trying to modify its properties reports in
"Internet connection sharing is currently enabled for ASDL"
"It will now be enabled for connection "local Area Connection" instead"
rather nervous... or do i just follow the same procedure by on the ASDL icon ?
ias
thanks again

I'd thought the ADSL is one of the connections on your computer - LAN connection means the one facing the internet, not always the physical LAN card.
