Hi All,

I have a Dell x50 PDA and I just learned to do bluetooth Activesync which requires the Actual activesync (USB Activesync) to be done on that PDA. Why do I need to do Usb activesync before bluetooth activesync.

Thanks for your reply.

You need to do a first sync via cable because ActiveSync looks on physical connections only when running the wizard for the first time. Since the Bluetooth Serial connection is only established when performing ActiveSync, the program would not find the Pocket PC.

This is actually only needed for the first sync of the first Pocket PC connected to that specific computer. After that you can create partnerships directly over Bluetooth ActiveSync.
