Hi

I have a nokia 6670 and have been trying to get the program "Netfront" up and running, only problem is every time i get the same message "Error Invalid DNS Value Specified".
I have the correct access point (www.vodafone.net.nz), have been in contact with Netfront, vodafone and nokia and have downloaded various setups for the phone, yet still get the same problem.

My friend has the same phone with the same settings and has no problem using the program, only difference is hes on a plan and im prepay???

Any help would be much appreciated!!

Cheers

Ring Vodafone CS and ask if you have the Wildcard APN " * " you will have to have a positive account balance to have this. When they confirm that you have this get back to me.

Cheers Johnr

Ive just been in contact with vodafone, and they have confirmed i do have a wildcard APN (although they were very confused when i asked them about it!!)
As far as the firmware version goes, i will have to check the other phone tonight.
Sorry to be a complete newb but what did you mean by PM??

Thanks again

PM=Private message but it does not matter now. How many access points have you got setup in the handset? You should only need 3 VFNZ internet and this should have no IP address and VFNZ PXT and VFNZ WAP Gateway.

Ok, ive got 10 different access point setups, including numerous VFNZ Pxt, Vfnz internet and vfnz gateway setups.
I will delete the unnecessary access points.

Now under settings somewhere there should be another access point settings and this one will be along the line of GPRS modem settings and this needs the access point www.vodafone.net.nz no IP address and the setting GPRS session should be set to " when needed "
