Welcome to Geekzone...

Are you connecting this directly to a SUB port or to a USB HUB? PDAs in geneal don't work well on USB HUBs.

Also, check that Power Management is off for those USB ports (Device Manager | USB | USB Root Hub | Power Management).

Make sure you have installed the latest Hotsync on your computer, and most of all make sure there is no personal firewall blocking anything...

No T5 drivers on the net? you must have a different net to me

Your palm was made by a company named "palm one" - their website is called palmone.com
Follow the support link, and then choose Tunsten T5. The "drivers" you want are there for windows and apple operating systems

Now I know this might sound silly, but have you tried unplugging the T5 from the USB Cable, unplugging the cable from the USB port - then reboot the computer and then plugging everything back in again? Also the has just been an update released for the Palm Desktop plus there is a firware update for the T5 - you can dowload them from www.palm.com/nz/support.
