Hi folks,

I'm slowly working things out with my new gadget, with the help of you folks. So far I can do most things I want, except for one thing that still bugs me.

For some reason I can't get the audio notification going when I receive a txt message. I have selected a sound in the "Sounds & Notifications" settings, and it played just fine. I chose one for the "Messaging: New text message" event.

Unfortunately it only vibrates when a txt message arrived - no sound was played!

Has anyone encountered this before? How do I set this up properly?

Cheers,
Dany.

Just been playing around with my Harrier (I think they are the same device) and I cant fault what you are doing. I take it the 'vibrate' option is unticked.
Are you using one of the standard notification sounds or a customised one?
If all else fails, try a soft reset.

Yeah, you're right - I had the vibrate option ticked. Unfortunately I was under the impression that it can both vibrate and play a tune at the same time.

Thanks for that.

That's something I would have assumed as well. I was about to set vibrate on as well as sound but it looks like it would default to vibrate - strange it cant do both.

cheers
