Dear Forum,

I am running hp laptop zt3352ap and iPaq 6515. The laptop comes with Home Edition SP2 but

what was installed on the latop - bluetooth by HP - contains vidcomm drivers, and I am unable to connect the laptop to the iPaq for the reasons explained in the geekzone guide -
Bluetooth ActiveSync Guide for Windows XP Service Pack 2.

I want to be able to download and install the MS bluetooth drivers (and not all of SP2!)

Hello Billz. The Widcomm software will give you all you need to configure ActiveSync over Bluetooth. You have to actually look on another guide, not the Windows XP SP2.

Check this Bluetooth Guide for instructions.

Also, there is no way to download only the Microsoft Bluetooth stack - it's part of SP2.

Dear Maurice,

Thanks very much, that was spot on. I have been putting it in the cradle and connecting, loading and unloading drivers etc. I suppose that is the time and stress sacrifice needed to make these things work.

What more can I say - thanks.

Just to note that some of the screens on my system were different to yours - but sufficiently the same for me to follow the instructions.
