Recently, I went to a hotel that offers Wi-Fi, charging R$1,00/4min (US$0,40/4min).

I must open the browser, log in and minimize the window to let the system charge me by polling my PPC every 4 minutes.

I could open another PIE window or e-mail client and surf around 1Gb/s.

Well, as far as I know, Spb Pocket Plus 3.0 should update a minimized window while I use others. The problem is that it didn´t happen, every time the system tried to check my connection (and charge me) it dropped the link probably because it could not update the minimized window. So, I paid nothing for the connection but could only surf for brief moments.

I´ve tried a laptop over the same Wi-Fi without no problems.

Any explanation? How to overcome?
