I always getting that wenn I try to connect my Nokia 3650 it is making
contact via Comm 0 (this is Irda port),so it does not work.
Wenn I connect my PDA 3970 with Dlink BT dongle I have NO prob (it connect always via

How can I make the intitialisation for my 3650 going to Comm 3 instead of always Comm 0

tns for any help or hint

Since you have a DLINK you could try the 1.4 drivers they have on their website.

Have you tried removing the pairing, deleting the icon from your computer, deleting the line on your 3650 corresponding to your computer and creating this again?

Are you getting this message when you pair for the first time?

If so, this is normal for the 3650. Just check the box to not receive further notifications and continue. Check the Bluetooth Guides on this site for complete instructions on the 3650 after successfully pairing the 3650.

Let me know how it goes.

Also, make sure Com4 is selected in mRouter for the D-Link adapter for connection via the Serial Port.

I tried to install version1.41 (file DBT120driver_141 from Dlink) but I always get an
error saying 'Error 1316 A network error !!!!
So if somebody can sent me an working version for Dlink v1.4.1
that would be great...........I never had such probs as with BT stuff
Sucks the software so much ?????!!!!!
I figured out that even my ISDN card (AVM Fritz) did not works more after
the installation of the BT software!!!!!!
I better bought a serial cable????for my 3650 (but it is hard to find somewhere ???)
So if there could be an upload for example in
a.b.cellular.bluetooth or
a.b.warez.pocketpc
(newsgroups)
that would be great!!!

The file you have from DLINK is the latest one, but for use with the mobile phone you might as well just use the original from the CD (if you still have it).

It may be that the last remove / install was performed while your Windows machine was in a bad state - if this is the case then your other step should be reinstall Windows and then Bluetooth. It's something with your original configuration. Like other software/hardware conflicts may exist with a specific computer configuration.

I had similar problems when I performed a re-install of my D-Link drivers by using the CD first and then installing the 1.4 drivers. When I ran the setup for 1.4, the install failed to complete the upgrade of the 1.2 drivers installed from the CD with a "network" error message and further attempts to un-install, re-install, clean the registry couldn't correct the corruption. My initial install using these steps had no problems, so some wierd conflict on the subsequent install??

After speaking with D-Link support, they advised me that installing from the CD was unnecessary. I simply needed to register my adapter's MAC address online and receive my security key prior to installing the 1.4 drivers (obviously, you need this as a part of the 1.4 install process).

I use Roxio's GoBack so I was fortunately able to revert my system to a state prior to the CD install and then I installed only the 1.4 drivers. Everything worked perfect and subsequent re-installs have gone without any issues.

Unfortunately, it sounds like something is also corrupt in your current configuration and I agree that it looks like you'll need to re-install Windows. Then for your D-Link, install only the 1.4 drivers. Don't use the CD again.
