Does anyone know how good or bad this unit is? Speed, memory, ... issues?

Is it worth looking at using this as the PDA and getting data via bluetooth to cellphone or would it be better to go straight to an integrated PDA phone unit (Apache, Jasjar etc)?

Any Thoughts?

Haven't had any experience with the new HP units (HP New Zealand is a little "slow" in responding emails or returning phone calls), but HP Pocket PC are in general good ones (albeit I wouldn't touch the "Media Companion" series).

If you don't mind carrying two devices the combination would work well. But in my experience I like having a single device. Beware, the HP Pocket PC Phone Edition are not UMTS or CDMA enabled, so you would get stuck on GPRS.

I really like my TNZ Apache: Wi-Fi and EVDO on the same device is great, and for data roaming overseas (other than Australia, where you can use the CDMA EVDO network for data as well) the Jasjar is nice (although a little on the large side).
