I can't remember how I came upon this, but I can't believe that Nokia has decided to release their maps + voice navigation for free!
If the sat-nav business wasn't completely killed off by Google's free sat-nav for Android, Nokia have made the final blow!
Sadly it's only available for certain models (the newest) at the moment via a new version of Ovi Maps, but hopefully more models will be added, like my N95! (please please...)
To be honest, the whole Nokia Maps + licence key was a complete rip off. In a few months of subscriptions, you could buy your sat-nav with no on going charges! I'm pleased with Nokia's move, it's a win for the consumer and loyal Nokia users.
[Edit: Argh! this topic was briefly mentioned in another thread regarding Garmin XT, sorry]
