HI there, I've had a glofiish X610 for some months now, and it is VERY SLOW. It seems to be OK for the first few calls/texts after switching it on, then gets progressively slower at responding, and will eventually just freeze and I have to switch it off and start again.

Any suggestions? I am tempted to post it back to the manufacturer and ask for a replacement, as it has been like this from the outset.

I also have problems connecting to the internet. In that I can't, not via a wireless connection NOR via my mobile provider (vodafone, who tell me my contract is set up to allow internet useage so the problem is with my phone).

Any help greatly appreciated!

The first thing is to check how much free memory is available on your device. Tap Start | Settings | Memory and let us know the free numbers.

As for connecting to Vodafone mobile internet, you have to make sure the Connection configuration contains the correct Vodafone APN information. Let us know if you know where to look for it.

I've also got an X610 (since May last year). The only issue I have is accidentally pressing mute with my ear (touch screen...). Suggest you try a fresh install. There is a sequence of button presses which you should find on the internet. This will clear the memory (and phone numbers, personal settings, etc.) and re-install Windows Mobile.

Suggest looking at internet settings after sorting out the big issue. Then setup GPRS and get it working before installing any freeware/shareware and before setting up WiFi/Bluetooth.
