Hey all. Just a quick note to say that I'll be at MIX10 week after next learning all about Windows Phone 7 Series development. If you have any questions, I'd be more than happy to answer them here. I'll also be writing stuff up over on the blog (http://ben.geek.nz)

There's a whole lotta stuff under NDA at the moment that should probably start coming out from the 15th.

And the disclosure is?

Like, is this a private/sponsored trip, you have the NDA information but won't disclose until the conference, etc?

Oh right. Very good point!

Microsoft are paying for my MIX10 ticket. I'll end up being a developer trainer for WP7, so it's good for them.

I was planning to pay my own travel, but my kindly employers (Datacom) are pitching in there.

Rest assured, if WP7 is crap, I'll say its crap.

Hi Ben

I'm interested in the multimedia software and the supporting graphics hardware, that will come with windows 7 as default. Will it be able to support all video formats out of the box? eg xvid, divx, mkv, ac-3 audio, full hd resolution etc.

I like my multimedia on the go. Off the top of my head, windows phone 7 is focused on mulltimedia, while wm6.5 will continue to be developed for business centric users, Is that right?

Cheers

If anybody wants to carpool from Raglan or Hamilton to the Auckland event for this, let me know as I'm planning on driving. It's this Monday, March 22.
