We have users on our BES server who experience very slow Internet access. They have a strong signal but I suspect on BES internet traffic is routed through the BES server through the corporate firewall etc. I have checked Internet access from the BES server itself and it seems fine but am I looking at the right place?

Is there some other BES setting that needs to be setup or do I have to ask VF to do something?

Thanks for any tips

Are they using the older 2G GPRS only Blackberrys like 8100 , 8110 , 8310?

Hi John

I found the issue myself. We had replaced our corporate proxy server and Group Policy pushed it out to all machine and servers. But the proxy server setting in BES wasn't changed (I guess GP can't do that) so it was still pointing to the old and about to be decommissioned server.

It works fine now, thanks
