Guys,

If I recall correctly, E72 is supposed to have 'Accelerometer sensor for auto rotate' and 'undo deleted messages' features but they both seem to be missing.

Anyone else noticed this?

Cheers

The Accelerometer is only for tasks such as flip to silent for phone calls and alarm

Auto rotate isn't needed as the handset is already in landscape mode (this is most often used on portrait orientated devices )

Undo deleted messages using the accelerometer isn't something I've come across on any Nokia handset .

It is officially stated in Nokia site that E72 has the 'Undo function for SMS deletion'. Please refer to the communication section of the below link.

http://www.nokia-asia.com/find-products/products/nokia-e72-products/nokia-e72-specifications

And from what I believe, this is nothing to do with Accelerometer Sensor.

Oh, also, I am also unable to perform conference calling in my E72. I know for a fact my mate's E71, bought in overseas but running on Voda NZ is able to perform this task. Any other E72 having this issue?

The undo function for SMS is an interesting one, I'll ask some questions for you.

In regards to the Conference Call feature.

1. Call the first number
2. Once the call in answered press Options and the New Call option
3. Call the next number
4 Once this is answered press Options and then Conference.

Thanks Brent.

And I just tried the above four steps for Conference Calling feature but as always, I get a 'Request Rejected' message. I really would like to get ths sorted as it will be very useful.

Yea, I thought as much.

I am a post paid customer. So, how do I go about enabling it at network level?

@ John: Its all sorted now. I rung Voda customer services and got it activated for free. I also made a successful test conference call.

Now, the 'Undo function for SMS deletion' issue takes all the attention :)
