Hi all (again), there seem to be a lot of 3rd party programs to modify the today screen. Anyone have any recommendations - I would like to just have certain icons on screen rather than have to go to start - programs etc. Just want a nice simple program. Cheers, Alex.

There a few as you mention, some comples, others less intrusive. There's Launcher a free Launcher that allows you to put icons on your today screen. Not sure if it works with Windows Mobile 5.

Then there are commercial applications such as iLauncher and Spb Pocket Plus (the last one with lots more features, not only a launcher).

In my experience, Launchers can make a device a bit slow, since they have to access icons and other information when you load them - and also use more memory.

Also, there is a limit of 12 plugins on a Today screen.
