I have a Clie NX70V and am trying to connect to the internet. I have ordered a wireless LAN card, but in the meantime, I would like to connect while the PDA is in the cradle. When I go to Preferences/Network ... I see that I am prompted to put in a Service. But I am connected to a cable company with my PC. Nothing listed on service. I don't have a user name or password .. so I have selected connection, edit, named it LAN, connect to:Local Network, Via: Cradle ... ok/done ... but on the main page, the Service thingy and user name are still there. Where I try to connect using any of the service providers, it just times out. There is no option for Cable LAN connection ... what should I do? and .. does anyone know about Wireless LAN cards for Clie, will it be just "Oh so easy" when I plug that it? Is it just automatic? .... Thanks in advance

Welcome to Geekzone... If you want to connect a Palm via USB you will need a third party program.

Well ..I went to this site ... downloaded Direct Link .. and later Link Direct .. they both have simple directions .. set up a profile, standard modem, number 00 ... but no matter what I did .. they try to connect, then redial .. but nothing connects ... My PC is connected via ethernet cable to a high speed internet connection with our Cable Internet Service Provider ... the directions on the site said that that should work. Not sure what I am doing wrong .... any ideas? ... Mark
