Hi, having issues syncing mail and calendars on this setup, contacts work ok, Active sync is setup to do email, contacts and calendars but only contacts seems to do its thing, however there is no report of any issues, Activesync thinks its all happy and done its business.

Doing a search on Google seems there are lots of similar issues about, but no solutions.

Any pointers are welcome

Cheers
Cyril

Try do it several times... it doesn't always get all sync done in one go. That's what I found out on my Palm Treo Pro.

That's why I left Google Apps for Microsoft BPOS. Even though Ihad a Google Premiere account (paid, with support), the support was non-existent. Reported problems many times, didn't even get a response.

Mainly you would start sync and even though it was configured for, let's say, three weeks, it would do one day, two days and stop. Sometimes after a few forced sync it would do the whole thing.

If you have an attachment it will not download it, and not even list in the email - so I missed lots of things.

I posted a few of these in my blog http://www.geekzone.co.nz/freitasm/6854 and http://www.geekzone.co.nz/freitasm/6918

One word: useless implementation of ActiveSync. Apple and Nokia do it right. Microsoft do it right. Skip Google.

Hi, thanks for the input Mauricio, unfortunately its not an option, seems like for now it will have to be IMAP to gmail for the mobile.

Cheers
Cyril
