Can anyone recommend a MSN/Yahoo/AIM client for Palm OS 5 (T3)? I have tried Causerie which keeps reporting a loss of connection, when the connection is in place. I've had a look at some of the others, notably VeriChat, which routes all messages through the vendors server (not keen on that).

Any recommendations appreciated.

I use verichat on my Nokia 6680 and its a very reliable service and never had any issues

I have opted for Casaria as it is only on-line when I'm actually online. Thanks for the input.

ps. for this that are interested, the TCPMP media player (freeware) works well.

MSN Messenger (web edition) will not work on a Palm device, which is the OP requirements...

Thanks for the suggestion, however the web page is not optimised nor transcoded for Palm (WebPro) and there is no native client for Palm...

The quote is wrong (probably from the Apache box): There is a MSN Messenger client on Windows Mobile 2003 and there's no service fee to use it.

The MSN Client on Windows Mobile 5.0 is a more complete software, that includes MSN Messenger client and MSN Hotmail client (it basically synchronises the Hotmail account with an account on your Inbox). This is also free on Windows Mobile 5.0.

This enhanced MSN Client is available for Windows Mobile 2003 for a fee - but the only thing it adds is the MSN Hotmail integration.
