Just got my Jasjar. Everything (installation) seemed to go well,,, got my outlook syncing. Just that the Skype & eTrust antivirus dont seem to be working.
Clicked on the antivirus icon... it did nothing for a couple of minutes and then disappeared. It still shoes up in running apps but I cant seem to find it anywhere.
Clicked on the Skype icon and it just sits there. Nothing happens (at least this one did not disappear).
Any clues? By the way I do have the latest ROM as per the imate site.

Welcome to Geekzone...

I guess you are using the Arab ROM? I saw these problems in one of the first English ROMs. Since then a new ROM fixed this problem, but I actually removed both programs, and installed Skype from the latest release on their website.

Actually I have the English version which I downloaded from the imate site.

ROM version: 1.13.53 WWE
ROM date: 09/28/05
Radio version: 1.03.01
Protocol version: 42.36.P8
ExtROM version: 1.13.137 WWE

I have seen some similar info on other sites as well that removing and installing skype from the skype site fixed issues with Skype. Havent tried it yet though
Any ideas on the Antivirus ?

As far as Virus protection I can its installed but canmt for the life of me find any software on gthe Jasjar.
I have done a hard reset time once to see if this fixes it-no change
