I Hot Sync at work and at home on a Powerbook and at work on a G5 (one has a slightly newer system version that the other), and never had any problems until recently when I began to get duplicate dates in my calendar. Now I am seeing that some events I add at work do not transfer to my Mac at home when I Hot Sync and vice versa. My Palm has some dates from both sources but I'm not sure it has all my events I have entered. While I was trying to figure out what events are missing from the calendar on my office computer, I am finding that when I use the search function on my Palm Desktop, it will not locate evetns that I know are on my calendar (I tested by adding a unique name in an event and searching for it, and the search did not find it).

I am stumped about how to fix this and what the problem is since this system was working fine for quite some time before thsi problem began. Anyone have any ideas about what teh problem is, or how I can fix it? I fear that I am going to have to manually go through both the calendars at home and at work adn re-enter multiple events. But even if I do that, I am worried that if I can't find events when I search (and I know they are in the calendar), there is something terribly wrong with the aaplication or my data files.
