I have been trying to find an answer to this one and believe it or not the Microsoft website was absolutely no help at all.
Say, you have 3 mobile devices (2 x WM5 and 1 x Palm OS5) and you have them all syncing to the same Exchange Account. You delete a Contact from one device and sync to Exchange. Exchange updates Contacts to reflect the deletion. You then sync your other device and presto the Contact reappears back in Exchange.
I am assuming that the WM5 'Device ID' bears no relevance to Exchange and is used as an identifier when syncing to a local PC. Which means that Exchange only identifies a device based in the Exchange username/password.
What I think I am looking to do is to have one WM5 device that can update Exchange (delete/add) and the other 2 devices are setup to be 'Exchange overwrites device' only i.e. not 2 way sync.
Is it possible?
