I've been looking for some Sync software for my phone since i didn't get any with it. It has the 2003 edition on it so what would you guys recomend? I have XP pro on my labtop and i have tried a couple different programs like magic sync and another one that i have forgetten that didn't work as well. Which is the best?

Welcome to Geekzone. Do you mean the Audiovox XV6600 (not VX6600)? If this is the case you only need ActiveSync, which is free and should be on the CD that comes with the Pocket PC.

If you don't have the CD, look for the ActiveSync 3.8 download here.

Since i am a total noob at all this stuff i also have another question, i'm trying to get the IM+ to work and i wanted to test it first so i got the trial version. Do i need the whole version to actually use the service? the only thing i can't do is connect. I looked through a few pages but didn't find anything, i'm lost without a search button.

Not sure - each program will have different trial policies. Usually they say what's the limitation, which is in general a 30 day grace period.

I recommend you contact the developer directly in this case.
