Hello every time my computer comes on or i try to use activesync. activesync connection manager box pops up and say activesync connection manager has encounter a problem i move it to the side and can still connect my ppc to my pc but don't know if its working am i trying to sync to much info. Please help please use step by step instruction i dont know that much about what im doing. using windows xp. windows mobile 5.0. active sync 4.1 and have my mcafee firewall, windows firewall set and virus scan turned off. Thanks

There are a few possibilities there: the firewall is interfering with your ActiveSync installation and it needs some configuration. You should find more information on this page "Activesync troubleshoothing Guide".

Another option is conflicts with other programs, tring to use the same USB card, or a conflict with the USB drivers, being connected to a USB Hub instead of directly to a USB port or even USB Power Management causing the port to go to sleep and then causing troubles.

Another alternative is memory problem - either lack of memory on your PC or faulty memory.
