Hey Mate,

I have the HD2 and love it, and have played with the I9000 at work (Work for the Service Centre - 3 & vodafone in Perth), I would say if I was getting either phone for my wife I would go for the I9000

* It is a lighter phone than the HD2, (the Feel of it, maybe due to the plastic casing)
* Has Android, gives you the feel of iPhone feel but can be customised. Note that it will have Samsung UI.
* Awesome screen

Both are big phones... don't get me wrong I love the HD2 and it suits me but I think it is such a blokes phone.

Now the only Prob with Samsung phones are that they are $$ to get fixed screens cost a lot, get an ext warranty if you can.

Hope this helps.

PS I can't wait for the HTC Desire HD (Its the HD2 with a better screen, Android - No Samsung UI to interfer, 8MP Camera with 720P Video, 1.5GB internal storage with 768 RAM... phew...).

If you like the look of the HD2 (it's nice, I have one) then I'd suggest holding off until Windows Phone 7 handsets are available here (likely next week).
