I can't seem to get the F8T001_V2 dongle and drivers to get noticed by PC Suite, has anyone gotten this combo to work?

I assume you have already had a look on this guide?

You'll have to configure the mRouter to "listen" on an incoming port. You'll select the COM port that you have configured on th Local Services tab (right-click the Bluetooth icon, select Advanced Configuration, swith to Local Services).

You mRouter should look like the image, but with your own COM ports of course:

On your machine, can you see the Bluetooth ports?

hi freitasm,

sorry for not being more specific.. but yes i was able to see all the bluetooth ports. and i checked the appropriate ones. I would check only the incoming ports being used (like you mentioned previously), and following some other guides i would check all of them depending on the driver version. But still no luck.

I would get the mRouter icon to show a connection between the 2 gray plugs but PC Suite just doesn't recognize it.

I am able to pair the PC and 3650 and send files to and from my PC using the send to option in the context menu in windows xp, but I would like to do syncing and surfing the web from my phone, but all that requires a connection to PC Suite which is my problem.

I haven't seen any people talk about the Belkin F8T001_V2 dongle, only the F8T001_V1 and how they got it to work.

I even went as far as disabling my firewall to make sure that wasn't the problem, and still no luck.

i installed BT drivers from 1.2.2.9 to 1.4.2.10(this driver version came with the dongle) and still no luck.

Any suggestions would be really appreciated, thanks

-edit-

Yes Freitasm, i checked out your guide, which was helpful, but after doing those things, it still didn't work. I think the major difference is that your using the TDK BT dongle, which I hear works reallly well, but its a bit expensive(even on ebay hehe)..
