Anyone else check out the price plan changes?

I took advantage of the 3 day weekend for $39.99/mo (but you lose your night minutes--unless you pay an additional $2.99/month). Ok, now the TZones has changes...

Originally, it was $2.99 for 1mb and you get a 300 bucket of text messages. Now, the plans are: TZones for $4.99 for unlimited WAP and email and the TZones Pro for $9.99 for unlimited WAP, email and corporate email. Here's the catch, you lose your text bucket. That's an extra $2.99 for that. Also, if you move up to the $4.99 plan, you can't go back to the $2.99 plan (the only reason you can have it now is because of the 'Grandfather Clause')

Also, I thought email counted as text, but it counts towards data (!). And email you send/receive is taken from data--as I was told about 15 min. ago.

The main thing that frosts my cookies is that T-Mobile doesn't even send you a message/email/letter/etc. letting you know of such changes. If I hadn't seen the promo about the 3 day weekend on a mobile phone site, I wouldn't have known. Also with the TZones price change, i wouldn't have known if I hadn't just happen to go to the T-Mobile website to check out the amount of minutes I've used so far.

Sorry for the rant, but I'm starting to lose a lot of the love I had for Tmobile.

Good to let other users know... I've read that Telefonica in Spain increased their GPRS pricing too, by 5x!

An update of sorts...

I've called TMobile again this morning, and they must have made a note of the amount of times I've called them on the situation in the last 24 hours. After placing me on hold, the friendly woman I spoke to gave me free Tzones unlimited :) I still pay the $2.99 for my 300 text messages. So in essence, I don't pay anything extra but instead of a piddly 1 mb of data on my phone, I get unlimited. Hooray!!!

So, I have to say that TMobile does make it up to you when you're forced to call them repeatedly for whatever reason.

Hi,

I wasn't talking about the data, I was talking about the T-Zones on the phone.
