Today I saw a fellow Australian blogger complaining about not seeing the $ sign in the Windows Phone 7 keyboard. The sign is actually there, but you have to hold the pound sign, or tap the arrow to switch to the secondary (function) keys to find the $ sign.

I found out we actually have the default English (UK) keyboard. Tried to change this, by going to Settings | Keyboard only to find this list:

English (UK)
French (Canada)
French (France)
French (Switzerland)
German (Germany)
Italian (Italy)
Spanish (Spain – International Short)

I don’t have an option to change to English (US) *at all*
