I have a nokia 6680 and I cant ring people direct from my contacts list.  I have to diall every number i want to ring.  I bought it second hand and the previous owner says he didnt have the problem.  Any ideas out there on how to fix it?

Please try a different SIM card and tell us if the problem is still there....

I tried 2 different simcards belonging to other family members, one contract and one pay & go.  They both work fine but when I return the other sim card the problem returns.  I know the problem is obvious but Club Nokia Careline insist that the phone is faulty.

Oh well, regardless of what club Nokia Careline says, at least you know what the trouble is now.

I think they (-some- helpdesk staff, and not just Nokia) just read off a flowchart system, and dont have much (if any) latitude to use their brains)
