I have a new PPC. WM5 Jas jar

I am getting tired of doing soft resets, ahow many do you do a day, what have I got set up wrong.

I have to reset to ensure apps connect to the internet automatically when the run. Nearly ever time.

I learned that WM5 is sold to the provider not the customer, this means the provider (ie vodafone) can sell it the with a CLOSED version of WM5 to you) I mean lock out certain services), so you dont know what your really getting when you buy a WM5 tool.

Damn those soft resets...

Any advice on easier running...

The OS is licensed to the manufacturer, which is HTC, and this is customised to the distributor requirements - in this case i-mate, not Vodafone.

I have a Jasjar and have no problems. I recommend you check that you have enough memory available - how much is there for Storage and Programs?

The best strategy is to install any program on a SD card, and only installing programs that are required when the unit starts (and Today plugins) in the main memory. I have abou 25MB free for Storage, and another for Program.

Also, there's an update available (as you know) so it may be the case of installing this update, since there are always fixes and I can tell you it improves performance from the original ROM.
