I bought a Nokia E55 from an Aussie a month ago, all works fine. However, I have been losing credit everyday even if I don't make any calls/txts. I thought it was the GPS app but I stopped using that and my credit still kept draining itself slowly.
How do I find out what it is? All I've installed is a few themes, could one of them be trojan maybe?

If I can't find out what is is, I'll probably have to format my phone.
For now I'm being anti-social as long as I can until I find out how to solve this.

We had users here who brought imported handsets to use on New Zealand networks and found out the same problem.

After lots of investigation it was found his Chinese phone was "calling home" every few hours to check for updates. Obviously it was doing it behind the scenes.

You should really completely disable mobile data on your handset and see if the account balance remains. If it stops going away then you will have to check everything on your handset - it's your responsibility after all.

Start by removing all third party programs, email configurations, social networks logins, etc. Then add one by one every few days and see how it behaves.

Are you seeing any small arrows next to your 3G and signal bars? If so then there is a data session happening for some reason, if it is an app like the weather try holding down the menu key and it should bring up your running app's. if nothing is there and it is still eating that credit of yours it try johnr's idea.
