Hi All,

I am a new guy here, and I am sorry if i put my message in wrong forum.

I have two PDAs with me, iPAQ 3630 (with PPC 2002 OS and Nokia D211 attached) and iPAQ 6365 (Phone Edition with PPC 2003 OS). I use this two PDA to gather information on the field for inspection purpose, at end of day i want to transfer my data to Host PC by dialing the modem attached to it.

The funny thing is, I can dial and transfer my data using iPAQ 3630 but always fail to connect when using iPAQ 6365. Iniatlly, i suspect that my iPAQ 6365 got a problem, so i try to dial another PC, it's works !

Anybody know, what the problem is and how to solve it. I need your help as soon as possible.

Thanks and Regards

Are they using the same account (SIM card)? Perhaps one account can dial CSD and another can't?

Yes, i use the same SIM Card, i follow same connection setting, i also try another setting.

FYI, the host PC use UM9800-U USB Modem. when trying connect using iPAQ 6365 cannot go through, the modem give "funny" sound. as mentioned early, when i try connect using iPAQ 3630 with same SIM Card and Setting it works!.

I already try connect this iPAQ 6365 to my Laptop (with internal modem Agere System AC'97 modem), and it works perfectly !

Is the problem in my iPAQ 6365 or UM9800-U USB modem that only compatible with certain PDA "modem" ?

please help
