I HAVE BEEN TRYING TO GET MY I930 TO SYNC UP WITH MY COMPUTER. SOMEONE STOLE THE DISK THAT CAME WITH PHONE. SO FIRST OFF, WHAT DO I DOWNLOAD FROM MICRO SOFT WEB , IF THIS IS THE SITE TO GET THINGS STARTED. I HAVE DOWNLOADED 3.8 ACTIVE SYNC AND NO LUCK. IT TELLS ME DEVICE NOT DETECTED... PLEASE CAN ANYONE HELP. I AM GOING ON A WEEK.  ANY ADVISE PLEASE.....CryCry

ActiveSync 3.8 is the software you need. Once you install it and run for the first time it will start a search for new devices. At this moment plug the Pocket PC and it should find it for the first time.

Make sure you plug the Pocket PC directly to a USB port, not to a USB Hub. Also, if the search failed before, right-click the ActiveSync icon in the system tray and click Connectio Settings: make sure the Allow Connection to USB option is set.

I did what you had advised me to do. Now I have a yellow question mark on the usb connection and I am trying to reinsatall it and it's not working....

Sometimes the ActiveSync download on Microsoft's website doesn't have all the device ids. It looks like this is the case. You should try contacting Samsung to get their version of ActiveSync, install that first then update with ActiveSync 3.8 on top of that.
