Ok, When I plug the micro usb cord into my phone, it gives me the usual options of PC Suite, USB transfer etc.
However when I select transfer, it no longer pops up on the computer (like it normally would with options to do with the file)
PC Suite option doesn't work either.
So does this mean the micro USB port is broken on the phone? I've tried removing the battery, restored to factory settings and numerous computers.

When I pull the cable out, it gives the warning about removing cable whilst transfers are taking place.
Thoughts, musing, rants?

Have you tried a hard reset? While the phone is off, hold down *, 3, call key and press and hold the power key. If you have done this correctly it should come up with a country selection menu when the phone powers up.

Keep in mind this will reload the rom from the phone's memory so it will erase any user data.

If this doesn't work it sounds like a faulty usb port.

If you use Windows Explorer or equivalent can you see the drives which represent your phone?

My thinking is that if the phone gives you the options you say it does then the USB port on the phone is working.
