I am trying to figure out how to retain a signature. Have tried to find application/idea to retain a signature within these applications??

These applications all automatically recognise and convert to text !! can this be turned off??

many thanks

Word Mobile does not have the capability to keep handwriting as images. If you want to capture signatures then you need a special application for that.

Sorry - the application will be either customised spcially for you or a third party one. It depends on exactly you want to do - but certainly not capturing signatures.

Perhaps you want to look at Phatnotes?

Hi and thanks,

Have looked at Phatnotes previously, but not applicable.
Need software that can capture a student signature when they have agreed to an assessment etc
preferable in pocket word or excel
suppose it is similar to couriers obtaining a customer signature when delivery is accepted

again many thanks

In this case you will need a custom application. There are some database/forms software that allows creating forms with image fields, ideal for storing signatures. Have a look at http://www.syware.com or http://www.grandasoft.com.

Just reading the Grandasoft site and it appears they have special licenses for teachers...
