Hi again guys! :)

Could you please advise whether I should do all or just some of the updates listed on the following page:

http://h18007.www1.hp.com/support/files/HandheldiPAQ/us/locate/105_5920.html

My PDA is second hand and I'm pretty sure the previous owner would not have updated anything. Any comments on what additional features/functionality would result would be great too. :)

Also, a questio about Worldmate: Is this something that can be used (even if use is limited) without a connection to the internet?

I would install these ones:

HP iPAQ Pocket PC h4300 Series ROM Update
HP iPAQ Pocket PC h4100/h4300 Series Wireless LAN Driver Update
HP iPAQ Pocket PC h4100/h4300 Series Inbox Update
Pocket PC 2003 Terminal Services Client Reconnect Workaround

Only install the last one if you use Terminal Services.

Worldmate is a subscription service. Some of the functions will work even without an internet connection, but weather for example will not be updated. Seriously, there are other software around with the same functionality, but you only have to pay once, instead of having a software that expires every year.

Thanks muchly - this place is amazing when you need help! :)

About the Worldmate - it came bundled with the PDA - so it's free hehe. I can try it out and see what it's like. Perhaps later I'll get a non subscription model.

Thanks again! :)
