Actually I found out that the AT&T APN is "proxy" and the username/password are blanks. On your Pocket PC you need to tap Start | Settings | Connections | Connections | Advanced and tap the [Select Networks] button.
Tap [New] under the "Programs that connect to the Internet should connect using"...
- Give this connection a name, such as "AT&T"
- Tap Modem at the bottom of the screen and tap the [New] button
- Give this modem connection a name, such as "AT&T Modem"
- "Select a modem" should be "Cellular Line (GPRS)"
- Tap Next and in the Access Point Name enter "proxy"
- Tap Next and leave all empty
- Tap Finish
- Tap [OK] at the top of the screen to close this
Now back in Connections, make sure you have the new AT&T connection just created for both Internet and Work.
Your Pocket PC should now automatically connect to the Internet over GPRS when needed. However you have to have this service enabled on your account, otherwise it will not work.
