Help! I love my ipaq 1940, have windows 98 se, had no problem syncing until 2 days ago. I had cleared out some useless? clutter in my recycle bin. Now my ppc won't sync, and yes my usb cable is plugged in(the ppc actually turns on when connected.) I am going crazy-when i prompt activesync, a message tells me its not prop set up. Do I uninstall the ppc from my hard drive??? thanks- todd (mdeadringer)

Is this USB cable connected directly to the USB port or to a USB HUB? These cables don't like HUB in general.

Have you done any update on Internet Explorer? Or installed a new MS XML processor?

Its plugged directly into the usb port. I haven't updated internet explorer recently. The latest thing that i added was something from vito tech that is now deleted. Should I reinstall the setup disk? Thanks, Todd (mdeadringer)
