hello,

I have problems with charging my smartphone 2 through an USB charger, i can´t turn the phone on, only red light appears for a while and that´s it.

Please can u help me out? thanks

I had a similar problem with the SP2. It wouldn't charge even from the wall charger. At the end I borrowed another battery from a friend, and that started the phone. I then swapped my battery back and it started charging fine.

You just need to replace the batteries, power the phone on, and replace it again. No need to purchase a new one, so perhaps you could just see if any store has got a spare one for this exercise?

I think the phone has a protection circuit, like many other devices, and won't charge if the battery falls below a certain level. Also I found out that charging from the wall prevents this kind of problems. The USB charging is very slow and won't help much.

I have been to the shops looking for the battery but those batteries are always uncharged when u buy them so my phone still doesnt work...the best way would be to borrow the battery but the problem is I dont know anybody with this phone:( any other suggestions? Im really desperate, thanks
