Trying to upgrade a Tungngsten T3 to a Treo 650 CDMA and as soon as I try to load the software it goes into a hard loop.
What on the old T3 software could be casuing this?  The only way to get the loop to stop is to hard reset the Treo 650.

I think the devices are too different. You should only restore the data and then install an application at a time. Having said that, look in your Backup folder for .prc such as hackmaster, etc. These are the things that change the way the OS behaves.

Mauricio is right, the difference between the T3 and the Treo 650 is quite significant due to the different types of memory it uses, with th e650 using non-volatile memory (which stores info differently to the T3 memory) Most of the mainstream applications have an upgraded version for this difference in memory storage.
