I set up a Netgear wirless router at work which works a treat.

I could access the network and the internet using my Acer N50 premium and all was good.

Then I had to do a soft reset on my Acer which seemed like a hard reset as all my content was wiped and had to be replaced / reinstalled. (Ive since found out about Backup/restore in Activesync!)

Now I cant access the wirless connection at work which is perlexing.

I switch WLAN on and I can detect a neighbour wirless network but I cant access our own - it shows up as Unavailable.

I tried setting it up from scratch and the one thing which is missing is WPA-PSK which I recall was visible previously. Now it only shows as WEP or disable and the WPA-PSK option isnt visible. The network requires WPA-PSK to connect.

Any suggestions?

thanks

BLU

Perhaps you had some patches applied to the Pocket PC before, and need to reapply since the hard reset?

Some HP patches for example have this kind of behaviour - patches that are not permanent and go away on a hard reset.

I dont know about patches. When I first bought the acer, because it was secondhand I removed the battery to clear it and start afresh.

IF there were patches where can I download them from now?
