Hi,

I am looking for help.

I have lost my Windows Mobile 2003 CD's but still have 2 files on my HDD. This is for iPaq 3870. I also have same problem with iPaq 3970.

The two files are : host11(it is exe file) and nk.nb0 (32MB file).

In contacting HP support, they have told me I need to purchase CD again. They have told me there are hidden files that I still need to do upgrade properly.

Before purchasing the CD again, do I have the 2 files required to do a proper upgrade to Windows Mobile 2003.

If someone could please advise.

Thank You

Golfman

If you buy the CD you'll have all the files you need - and you can discard the ones you have in your HDD.

Make sure to create a copy of the current iPAQ ROM before upgrading it. The software on the CD gives you the option to do so. After this you'll only need the CD again if you want to restore the iPAQ to its previous version.

Make sure you don't use the CD for the iPAQ 3870 on your iPAQ 3970!
