Hi,

I have a work Blackberry Torch 9800 on Vodafone.  I am being migrated to XT, and am hoping to not replace handset if possible.  I know I'll be ok in the Auckland CBD, but will I get any form of 3G in Tuakau / Pukekohe?

Regards,
Alexis

If it doesn't pick up HSDPA 850mhz your coverage will be pretty inconsistant on XT. (Main city areas only, if that)

If the Blackberry was bought through Vodafone it will most likely be network locked as well, As far as I'm aware all their Blackberries are locked.

I had access to a torch and no it won't work very well with Telecom at all.

I live in Henderson and I got no service via the torch at all. (but I could see vodafone and 2degree's signals)

Better to get a new phone.
