SplashTop is already out for WebOS, it's basically a remote-desktop app that relies on a "server" on your PC rather than using a regular VNC/RDP connection. PreCentral has gone bezerk over it due to lack of workable alternatives.

I've got the Android version and it works pretty well although it was limited to 1024x768, not a big deal really.
