Hey guys,

I am having a bit of trouble with my Imate pocket pc, whereby the rom that is currently loaded does not allow for some functions of the phone to be accessed (eg) Sms, mms, any phone settings.

What i believe i require is the factory rom to put back into the unit (or an upgraded one allowing said features to be accessed) and as far as i am aware i am able to download the software from the Club Imate site, however i am not a member as the phone was given to me secondhand, and it was upgraded prior by my work colleague who has subsequently left our employ and refuses to take calls :(

I wonder if anyone is able to provide a link from which i can download a new rom to atleast give me the basic functionality that the phone would normally come with?

Current Specs are as follows.

GSM - Telstra
ROM Version - 2.02.t1WWE
ROM Date - 05/17/04
Radio Version - 1.18.00
Protocol Version - 1337.38
ExtROM Version - 1.66.176

Any help would be greatly appeciated

Kindest Regards

James

You can download the latest ROM for i-mate devices from their public ftp site: ftp.clubimate.com. The correct file will depend of course of your Pocket PC's model.
