Ok I know this is my first post, and on most forums good editcit is usally not to post a question as a first post, but I have been going CRAZY tring to find the answer to this one so hopefully you guys will be able to help me.

I stream TV over my network. So I could use my laptop and watch TV from anywere (mostly the bathroom heh). But what I want to do is connect a BT serial connection between my phone and laptop, and use the laptops connection to my network to view the stream on my phone. Sounds easy right? no -=[

I know how to share a internet connection between my phone and laptop through a serial connection. I made a blank access point to use on my browser so when connected to my laptop I could use like doris browser (or whatever) to surf the web. It works great! But when I try to use that access point on real player it tells me its a invalid access point.

I tried setting the gateway of the access point to my laptops IP address and again if I try to surf the web with it, it works. But if I try to use real player it still gives me a invalid access point error.

Does ANYONE know how this could be done, or what apps I could use to do this, or at least a site that has more information on how to do this.

All info is appreciated. Thanx in advanced.

It's something to do with the RealPlayer. It doesn't work over Bluetooth with Pocket PCs either, and I got a reply from their support saying that networking over Bluetooth causes this. I think it shouldn't be the case - a network is a network, and mRouter (serial) in this case is used like ICS (LAN Access).

What I really think is that the Windows Mobile RealPlayer client and the Symbian Series 60 RealPlayer do not support all Real formats available.

Have a look at this article... It's not really what program, but where you can find the content.

I was able to connect my N-gage using NetFront3.1 via Bluetooth, but everytime I play a game which requires socket, it asks to select an ACCESS POINT to which requires GSM SIM card. I got the USB Bluetooth and NetFront3.1 to avoid the expensive 8MB for $20.00 from AT&T. Any suggestions?? Thanks.

I have exactly the same problem, netfront works ok for me without any acces points created.
I read some tips about creating access points that will also allow nokia internal browser to work with bluetooth but they didnt worked for me.
I also thinked that if this is posible it would be nice that an server/client software with posibility of changeing the tv card channel wile streaming directly from the viewing application (on mobile phone) would be nice :).
My ideea is that the only way is to make bluetooth to work like access points, but i dont know how to do that.
so:
Anyone knows how to solve this pls?
edit:
Or any streaming media player that works without acces point for nokia 3650 available? thnx
