I recently acquired a new pocket pc with bluetooth (HP1945). I have several questions.

1) I would like to know if I must purchase an adapter/dongle for bluetooth to connect to internet on my pc.
2) It's my understanding that if I do connect, I must stay within the same room as the adapter to use my pocket pc. Please correct me if I'm wrong.
3) If this is so, I may be better off getting a wi-fi setup and purchasing a SD wi-fi card.

Yes, you'll need a Bluetooth adapter on your computer, so the Pocket PC can connect to it and use some services, including LAN Access.

The range will be around 10m, even if in other room, but with some open space - no walls, open door or direct view. And you're right, if you need a bigger range than wi-fi shoul be used.
