Can anyone tell me if it is possible NOT to sync private items which would be created on a Windows Smartphone so it would NOT appear in your Outlook Calendar. I understand that marking it private will not make it visible for anyone to view your calendar. However, it still resides on the Exchange Server, and I don't want private items to sync with Exchange.

I used to be able to do this with my Palm Vx. Anything I created on the Palm, and marked private would not sync with Outlook. The only calendar syncronization setting is to choose the timeframe for the calendar sync (i.e. 1 week, 2 weeks, 1 month).

Does anyone know if this is possible? I currently have a Motorola Q on Verizon Wireless, running Activesync 4.2

Thanks.

This is not possible with the standard synchronisation to Exchange Server.

Is there third party software out there that can accomplish this?
